Caffeine and Your Exercise Plans

What does caffeine have to do with your work out plans? Well nothing directly perse, but it certainly has a big impact upon your ability to get rid of belly fat, which is one of the big things that most people exercising are trying to do. So what is the problem with caffeine and belly fat? Basically it all boils down to a little stress hormone called cortisol. When we consume caffeine our bodies produce more of this hormone. Cortisol has the very unwanted effect of making out bodies put on fat (it is a stress hormone and stress really messes with our bodies metabolic rate). Specifically this nasty little hormone causes many people to retain more fat on their bellies… Now even if that does not describe you, it is still the case that this stress hormone will cause you to retain fat elsewhere on your body. The exact location of where you accumulate the most fat is determined by genetic, it just so happen that for most people the belly is a particularly troublesome area. The point here is very simple. If you want to lose more weight faster then you need to cut caffeine, or at the very least a large percentage of it, from your daily diet.
